GT5 - Eiger Nordwand Gold - Grand Tour Special Event

Here's the final video of my series showing only the most difficult events on GT5. I've had this saved on my computer for ages but completely forgot about uploading it. Although it's nice to finish on the task I found the hardest.

This is the seventh video in the series and focuses on the Grand Tour special event, in particular the Eiger Nordwand time trial in the Alfa Romeo.

Getting gold in this is probably just as, if not more, gratifying than the X2010 event at Suzuka. Before I started this event I'd breezed through everything else on the game. This was the first really tough thing I had to do.

It was so long ago that I did this that I can't remember much about how I did it, so can't give too many tips. I know however that the final few turns are absolutely crucial. Break as late as possible and cut the corner after you come up the bank, then try and get one the power as quickly as possible, cutting the final corner and straight-lining it as much as possible. You'll see on the video what I mean. For the hairpins at the start of the lap, just throw the car around them and get on the power as quickly as possible on the corner before the bridge. Hopefully the video will help you. Good luck!
