Panoramic view of Cologne, Germany (Köln, Deutschland) from the roof observatory of Köln Triangle. From the deck you can get a good view over the Western part of the city. Not mentioning the downtown area, with the cities tallest buildings and many famous structures, like: Kölner Dom ( Hohe Domkirche St. Peter und Maria), Hansa-Hochhaus (an office building that houses Saturn), TÜV Rheinland, RingTurm, KölnTurm, Lufthansa-Hochhaus, Herkules-Hochhaus, Great St. Martin Church & Deutschland Radio. The impressive structures of the Deutzer & Hohenzollern bridges and the river Rhine in the foreground.

    Köln | maxCologne - Umbau Lufthansa-Hochhaus | 95m | In Bau

Copy + paste into Google. i´ll send you another impressive video (or a few) of the Post Tower in Bonn, at day & night !

  • @YesYesYouAreRight:

Sorry,i was wrong (should have read the liner notes):

It is the"KölnTriangle" + mainly home of the headquarters of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The top floor+roof houses a publicly accessible observation deck with panorama views all over Cologne.

The Lufthansa building is getting reconverted, but is also in Köln-Deutz (right-hand side of the Rhine) + just a few 100 meters southwards.

Check Wiki page: maxCologne - Umbau Lufthansa-Hochhaus

  • @MrSKINFLICK Dear Mr.S. Thanks for your response and information. I have not yet been to Cologne, I heard an interesting video on You-Tube: (PLENUM) ALL BELLS OF COLOGNE CATHEDRAL (sorry about the caps lock), which made me want to visit. . Your mentioning that the tall building from which this video is made is the Lufthansa building in that city; a pal of mine works there, I didn't know that it was that specific building ... more incentive to visit the city, I suppose. . . Cheers. from, del-boy
  • @YesYesYouAreRight:

The video was obviously done thru the windows of the Lufthansa building in Köln-Deutz - i was never there, so i don´t know if people are not allowed to go to a possible platform outside. Certainly the region of Bonn (30 km from Cologne) has better videos from afar to offer...still very impressive this one, with a zoom view (1:50) on the world-famous seven mountains range in the south of Bonn...

Cologne is fuckin old+was founded by the Romans+Bonn, too !

  • Hey that's great, but could you go and do this video again, on a sunny day, please. . May be this Summer; let me know when you post it. . Nice town. . . Cheers. from, del-boy
  • @MrSKINFLICK I'll come when all of the Turks leave. LOL!

  • @TorchTexas: Don´t hesitate too long - we still got affordable public health insurances here - for every wallet.......LOL

  • @MrSKINFLICK Cool man! Some day I'll visit Germany.

  • @TorchTexas: Yes. But the valley is in a height of about 80 m - while Bonn is at 0 m sea level ! Bonn and Cologne are only 25 km away ! The region from Duisburg (in the huge Ruhr-city area with about 10 milllion residents) to Bonn (100 km) has about the highest and densest population in Germany and is still very lovely. Check out also Bonn´s sights !

  • Is Koln in a valley?
