i used to think water polo was the gayest sport ever. Man i tried out, i was sooo wrong, i've played Tennis, soccer, and done swimming, and water polo is one of the most fun and challenging sports i've ever played, never before did i so desperatly want to get off the bench and jump in... this sport doesn't get the credit it deserves

@bassnpancakes actually, as per FINA rules, the goalie is allowed to touch the bottom of the pool, but the water is normally deep enough that it doesn't matter

i've been playing waterpolo for 3 years and i truly wish that people wouldn't hate on our sport...while all the football players are out there sweating there balls off in 90degree weather....we're swimming and getting in better shape faster than any other sport does...i've been wrestling for 3 years and boxing for 7 and i gotta say none of it compares to polo practice(: LOVE THIS FUCKIN SPORT!!!!!!

@whateveryoulikeify the water is usually deep, and no you cant stand not even goalie, you have to launch yourself up as hard as u can with a hard kick and stroke, not being able to grab or stand on anything is wat makes the game so tiring
