The Heritage Foundation's This Week in Washington video discusses four major issues: out of control federal spending and President Obama's proposed $100 million cut in budget, proposed Energy Policy measures such as Cap and Trade which will result to high unemployment, Congressional interrogation hearings that are really a Bush Bashing Commission, and the expansion of federal hate crimes law.

  • His followers are blinded by his slick marketing program and his blame Bush agenda. Grow the government and throw money at our economic problems and they will go away, is his policy. If that fails, blame Bush. This Obama lawyer, is Jimmy Carter revisited, grab your wallet.

  • We need to spend more money on military and offshore oil exploration. A lot of jobs can be created with that and we would be energy self sufficent and protected.

  • I had a major stroke when a vein in my neck stopped sending blood to my brain and a large portion of my brain is dead.

  • We don't have more money for the military. We can't afford the ridiculous price of what we've got. Larger than 2x the rest of the world combined. Why? To enrich the international war contractors, and their bankers. And eventually these weapons will be used on us.

  • All of those examples would cover the price of paint for a couple of war helicopters. Want to cut taxes? Cut the war budget. That's where most of the discretionary spending and waste is.
