@DesolationAeoris Also, if you notice they are identical storylines. Groups can change their names, but ultimately there's a transfer of consciousness from man to machine. There's a war for thousands of years, or in supreme commander, just "1,000 years", and the third faction hasn't been wiped out yet. They have everything to do with one another, except from a legal standpoint where they are different games with coincidentally identical stories. "Or Atari will sue."

@DesolationAeoris I'm aware of that. Source August 2005 edition of PC Gamer magazine. Originally announced as Total Annihilation Supreme Commander, with the statement saying it is a prequel within the first or second paragraph (if you count the paragraph on the picture as part of the article).  That later changed along with the removal of the name "total annihilation" from the title due to legal issues with Atari. The same bastards who ruined CoD and made IW's guys go to EA.

@DesolationAeoris They do. And if you read into them, Supreme Commander is set at the beginning of the "transfer of consciousness from man to machine." Total Annihilation is set after it when the war has already decimated "over a million worlds." Do you not have any knowledge of the game's storyline at all?  Every magazine that covered Supreme Commander had stated the fact that Supreme Commander and SC 2 are prequels to TA.
