How to handle reading passage questions? Read them.

If you're going to do it like that, then don't forget to question why certain images come up in your head, because that will allow you to figure out the tone of the passage. After that, you have to question how the author creates that tone, which is beyond the power of a movie in your head and more of a skill that knowing literary style is for.

Although prep books and programs are great they are too expensive. What helped me most on the PSAT/SAT/ACT was repetition. I came across this app called SAT Daily on the android. It is immensely helpful. It's new, but I downloaded it and was amazed. It gives you new question, new vocabulary word DAILY& new tip weekly. This kind of constant exposure really helps. I'm sure it will boost your score on SAT/ACT as well. & I scored in the top 2 percent. Search SAT Daily in the android market.
