@lookingup82 Who was teaching it? None of the Apostles or the early church fathers taught a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. If you have done your studies correctly you will find that this doctrine did not come about until Mr. Darby. The Pre-Tribulation Rapture is false, Not the Rapture itself, but that the Church will be snatched out of the coming Tribulation on the Earth. This is a western thought AND teaching. The Bible is written with a Middle Eastern Jewish mindset. Read Matt 24 carefully!

@kietero Those people experienced The Change. 1Co_15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. The change is when our flesh body is instantly changed into our spiritual body. 1Jn_3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. We see Jesus because we also get our spiritual glorified bodies, just like Jesus.

@lookingup82 Yes, but they both REMAINED ON PLANET EARTH. Psa_37:29 The righteous inherit the land,&dwell therein for ever. We stay on earth. The New Jerusalem comes to Earth: Rev_21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven... Coming down from heaven to where? Obviously, to earth. The WICKED are removed: Pro_10:30 The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.

It's too bad that so many Christians believe in the Rapture because it tricks them into NOT working for a better society. These Christians don't see the point in working for justice today, because Jesus is coming tomorrow. Meanwhile, simply put, those with evil designs will take over.

Im a non-believer but I must say, you both did an excellent job "disarming" the Rapture! I only wish you'd heed your own advice: "JUST BECAUSE A BOOK HAS SOLD MILLIONS OF COPIES, DOES NOT MEAN ITS THE TRUTH". Critical thinking and reasoned thought rather than exegesis works best.

Wow... this guy has never read the bible! He's missing the RAPTURE of Enoch in Genesis. he's forgotten the RAPTURE of Paul. He's forgotten the 2 Thesselonians passage which has the RAPTURE explained. This guy is just rambling. There are 4 other raptures in the bible but they are true RAPTURES.

The Bible say he'll come like a thief in the night.. not even the angles in heaven know the hour....and that every man shall see the face of Jesus, but only the pure in heart will see the face of God.

I dont think the word Rapture is used, I think it says gather or caugh up in the air.. so Im not really sure... but when I hear that trumpet sound I sure hope Im in that number that gets to go!
