Crushed Can!

An experiment of a soda can crushing itself.



Fill a bowl with cold water and add ice cubes to the bowl(colder the better)
Add a little bit of water to the can (Just enough to cover the bottom)
Put it on the stove on Medium
Wait til it is boiling and wait 10-20 seconds
Turn it off and flip it fast into the bowl of water (use tongs there easier, i used mitts because i didn`t have any tongs)
Watch what happens

For everyone else dont use oven mitts... use like tongs to use it .... also about this vid nice job showing everyone what happened....

i used mitts because i didnt have any tongs so thats what i had. Wished i had some laying around

Did you put the mouth in too far you should do less than half an inch

it may depend on the aluminum the can is made of.. maybe some companies have better quality aluminum? hope that helps...
