  • This was a poor attempt at historical sattire. If you feel that the civil war was funny, You would really crackup with the gas chambers at Auswich, or maybe you could do a skit on Joanstown or Wako ?? Sorry I didnt see the humor .

  • Just for future reference, my great-grand uncle died at Gettysburg. This is not a satire of the men who died on that field, but rather the general lack of knowledge on history and thereby the general gullibility of many members of the public vis-a-vis the crucial facts of the situations.

Also for future reference, when going troll-ing, please spell Auschwitz, Jonestown and Waco correctly. Doing otherwise in a non-satirical setting is an historical disservice, and discredits your criticisms.

  • TJ you need a history lessson big time

  • It's called satire.

  • A must see! This video's premise is that our forfathers anticipated the Civil War and laid out the battlefields and mnuments IN ADVANCE! For example: "In fact, they used the monuments for cover...and as a sniper's nest!" A Monty Python, divergent, original mind thought this one up and, unlike so many today who repress their creative side on fear of being politically incorrect, had the guts to produce it.

  • Thank You. I appreciate your comments. It's great to see someone who gets satire and intelligent comedy still!

  • Have you actually heard people asking about the lack of bullets holes in the monuments? Only asking cos I've overhear some pretty silly stuff and I wouldn't put it past someone to do it.

  • Everybody just needs to calm down, everybody sees it their own way, shape and form.I'm a reenactor and I find it vary funny because it's just sattre!

  • amen

  • Tht's why Meade was so pissed at Sickles - all those monuments to move.

  • GENIUS

  • Rather ironic that this was for class at Gettysburg college. Most of the numbskulls who attend that pipsqeek instituation not only don't care about the battlefield, they are responsible for most of the vandalism of the monuments that goes on there.

  • Im not a civil war buff...but I too love the movie, Gettysburg. I also like Gods and General. My husband is a Huge Civil War buff. And with him telling me about the battles...I grow to learn more about them...and I've started reading his civil war books. Also, my husband recreates the battle with his 15mm miniatures. Boy...he got hobbies he likes to do.
