Question: Despite two votes that demanded the state halt aerial wolf hunting, the state continues to practice aerial wolf hunting, in order to provide more game for subsistence users. As Governor would you continue aerial wolf hunting?

She was saying that she is for predator control, prior to being voted in and still won. We do need animal control and the few farmers in this country will agree with her. In general, most hunters are very concious of wildlife conservation and protection and are very respectful of our wildlife.

the disgusting step was allowing trophy hunters to do this. If it is predator control then make Fish and Game do it, it's their job. If it's hunting then make the hunter hike through the snow and track animal. torturing wolves from a plane is not sport.

Thinning the wolf population in order to compensate for hunting of caribou/moose makes absolutely no sense and is selfish.

Diminishing the population of their prey by hunting will cause the wolves die off naturally (by having fewer prey to hunt and thus starving in the cold), since humans in that case serve the role of a competing predator.

In other words, Palin and the "ecologists" who advocate the bounties on wolf kills are talking out of their asses.

So you're telling us that Palin hunts wolves for food? I think peoples' complaint is that she likes to shoot things. This doesn't give you any pause for concern? How could Obama have given people guns, he's not in power yet?The wolf population kept itself in control for thousands of years without the help of Palin and other dumbasses getting involved. The real issue here IS a constitutional one. Something Palin cares little for.

In 1972 the Aerial Hunting Ban was passed into LAW by the American public.

The American public voted that we where not the kind of nation that chased animals until they could run no more and then shot them to death.  The only exception was for a health crisis.

In her own words Palin admits to using predator control to boost numbers or moose and elk, which is ILLEGAL under the Aerial Hunting Ban!!!!!

Actually...deer kill more people every year in the United States than bears. If you think hunting is a sport...ask the deer. Sarah eats wolves? Hmmm never heard of a wolf burger. I understand that many hunters hunt for meat. Fine. I'm talking about the sport/safari arial shooting of wolves. That is what I am against. ok people wake up have you ever hear when their is too much populatin of certian animals. Dears don"t kill people like Bears and the otheir Animals who are meat eaters and when their is more people compare land to give to the animals to keep safe from the people then you have to do to keep everyone safe something has to be done or if their is too many foxs or wolf or bears and their is not a enough food for them to eat then they will atack anything even a man or child or women and so on.
