I have a Nikon D3100 and I plan to time lapse from that location, I know exactly where it is.....awesome job! Mind telling me what device you used to slowly pan the camera during that time lapse? I could really use one of those...

It was done off the hills to the west of Temecula.

That shot is on Rancho California Road,,west of Hwy 15,,up about 8 miles into the mountain just before Deluz,,right ?
