  • @pplpilot Me too, I learnt most of what I know from Allens - real happy times for me.

  • @Bevoin1970 Shit I feel like a whole chapter of my life has just been deleted! suppose it was 25 yrs ago after all... Im 41 not a great deal younger as a few of these back then that have now died from what I can see. I learnt a lot from these chaps here, stood me in good stead.

  • @pplpilot Dennis Street, Billy Lunn, Ken Knight ( opple ) Lathe all dead, Dougie Jinks dead, Kenny Slater ( Lathe ) still around, Dekka Harrison, working in Darlo somewhere, Darren Jones, alive but no idea where, John Moggy Minor no idea about him, prob dead too, Frank is still alive I think, not sure about anyone else, Im still alive ... ha ha

  • @Bevoin1970 just trying to put a few more names to faces, Dennis Street? Darren ?? (came from Aldridge) Ken ?? (chap on the laths) John in the stores drove a moggy minor, and who can forget Billy Lunn! where has 25 years gone?

  • @pplpilot Not sure myself how many are still alive, Pat is for sure, I saw him a couple of months back, Sid! crikey he must be gone by now... ha ha Sid and apples, thats the man. Crasher went off to Canada to live, he's still so far as Im aware. As for me, well Im still local, and driving for myself now in the transport game. I miss Allens though, happy days for me.

  • @Bevoin1970 Yea I remember ... next to Crasher! I remember all on here but no good with names. I remember Franks 50th very well. I always remember Sid (sure it was sid..?) putting an apple on his desk every day. Not sure how many are still with us though.

  • @pplpilot Thats what its all about, glad you found this. Now I remember you, but do you remember me? "Stud" at 0:50 front row holding the tea cup - well thats me... LOL as I once was anyway... :-)
