Hockey's history, from 1860-2009

A movie I made looking into Hockey's origins of Canada's Game. This is Part I for my ISU Grade 10 History Progect. Songs included are Vertigo by U2 and Stompin Tom's the Good Old Hockey game. Included in the end are some of the best nhl highlights since the lockout.

Cool video. Though I believe it's Mi'kmaq, not Mi'knaq. Micmac hockey sticks are named after the Mi'kmaqs

Uh... It was first played by Scottish immigrants who took their native game of camanachd to the ice. Lol at Micmacs first playing it.

That was the most selectively-chosen, Canada-centric history of hockey I've ever seen. "1972 - Canada beats U.S.S.R. in the Summit Series making them the best country in the world"...oh rly? Well I'm glad that's settled.
