Toll (Draft 1) - A Singapore action short film

My latest work.. shot on HDV, Canon XH-A1, XL-H1

A fast paced 15 minute short film, Toll is an action thriller that is governed by the pursuit of right versus wrong, and the never ending battle between the forces of good and evil.

Police Chief Mike Powers has enough evidence to arrest the son of Mr. Jimmy Chin, the ruthless and heinous triad leader. However, when things get out of control and his family become involved, Power kidnaps Desmond, a local triad member trying to eek out a meager existence. With the stakes increasing as the two sides wage war of unprecedented scale, Powers must decide once and for all who's side he's on and determine if upholding the law means breaking it in the process.

The lines between right and wrong or good and bad are often so ambiguous that it is always the innocent who suffer.
