Hendrix was also jamming with Miles Davis right before he died. Hendrix was so much more than Rock. You would do well to recognize that.

@RudyKronfuss Hendrix father played sax, jimi used to play along with his dad

Joni liked jazz but more blues but that Asian lady and the sax just kills the mood jimi is trying to put

any one who knows hendrix and is a huge hendrix fan knows that jazz was a big part of him... especialy knowing that his drummer mitch was an increadable jazz drummer. Mitch style drumming is very jazz related. Sax deosn't go but great job.

It's a nice cover but for me the sax doesn't work for a song like this. kind of takes the raw edge away if you know what I mean.

@ffh8666 yeah man.... jimi even uses flute in some of electric ladyland tracks. RnR is not boxed to fuzzy guitarssssssss
-
love the song, but the sax here just irritates me, rainy dream away is fine with a sax. but anyway great cover

@ffh8666 Hendrix = Jazz. Hendrix loved Jazz, he even played Fusion Jazz himself. You can hear jazz reference in Hendrix's songs.
Cool...That looks like the Digitech Jimi Hendrix Experience pedal...I got one too...the Octavia effect on there is great and so is the Star Spangled banner setting

Dear ffh8666,
seems you have never heard "Rainy day dream away", Oeps...and even Hendrix himself was heard on a public saxophone they say...
