Nope. you are right. Flat, short, stretches like this are Ok and not too risky. however, too long of extended full throttle, or flooring it up a big hill may cause the engine to sieze. I know. Oh boy, do I know. Pretty amazing little 360cc engine really.

Watch the tach on the dash in the video, I noted the highest RPM.
7300 RPM if I remember correctly.....

I added an electric fuel pump and E.I. but, pretty much stock
