Just picked up this new Honey Bee fixed pitch from Esky to add to the line. This was the first test of the XP blades in conjunction with the XDD tail. Didn't quite expect my first pirouette with this heli to going flyin past the camera like that. It was a mere inch or two. I'm flying the SS Super Blades XP, SS Super Paddles and Xtreme DD tail rotor along with the Xtreme metal composite grips/rotor head. There's about 4 feet between the camera and that junk in the background so I found myself maneuvering in a bit of a "channel." Anyway just havin fun.

  • Very nice flying! I am in my second day of owning a rc heli, and hovering is hard. I checked out your video, and realize how hard this really is :-)

  • @stonecrop - Thank you. Yeah getting the hover down can be the hardest part but it only gets easier from there.

  • Hey Crazyhelidude, Great video's...i just got a walkera#4 and order superskids/super paddles/and EZ super blades..I am a newbee and i want my heli easy to control... have you had an experience with these products? thanks

  • @3255959 - Yes I have. Most of the superskids stuff is great. I won't fly the HBFP without the super paddles and XP blades on it. Much more positive control and more enjoyable to fly.

  • as i can see in the video, a blade is spinning higher than the other...

  • @heberorozco - You'll get a bit of that with these birds. The blade grip is resting on two bearings. You just land it, rock the head back and forth a bit and reseat, then it's usually fine. If it still doesn't track you can flex the blades to get one higher than the other and get them in line.

  • hi, what are those yellow parts on the skids?

    Nice video ;)

  • ok nice man! i tried to do a 360 degrees turn and the gyro didn't letme do it well, it almost end in a crash, i gotta put the gain of the gyro to - right?

  • Thanks for the comment Rotorwash. That's why I got the HB v2. I wanted a single rotor between my msr and 400 that I could fly outside without getting taking by the wind or being a fortune to fix! :) The honey bee does nice and very cheap to maintain.
