'83 Hurst/Olds #429 of 3001 built. Built on 12-20-1982. Purchased from original owner August 8, 2003 in Tifton, GA who purchased from Prince Chevrolet-Oldsmobile, Inc. PO Box 128, HWY. 82 W. in Tifton, GA 31792 on January 31, 1983. I have copy of GA title, dealers invoice window sticker, retail installment sale contract, build sheet, Oldsmobile pre-delivery inspection check sheet, Oldsmobile owners manual, Hurst/Olds option manual, buyer protection manual, radio manual, and tire manuals. Also loan documentation copy stating date of birth of original owner 12-4-1936. A very well documented vehicle.

A very solid southern car which has all its original paint, rare sand drift (gray) interior, and W40 Hurst package which includes the infamous Hurst Lightning Rod shifter. This is the 15th Anniversary Edition of the Hurst/Olds collection. A true beauty, an eye catcher, and definitely a collectible.

Car has been autographed by Jack 'Doc' Watson who was one of desiginers and innovators of the Hurst/Olds project. Also autographed by Linda Vaughn "Miss Hurst". Both autograph's are documented by photos with each. Car has paraded the Indianapolis Brickyard race track on two occasions - 2004 & 2009. Both documented by photos of the car passing the brick finish line. This is a great car which would be an excellent authentic collectible item.

Asking $15,400.00

  • I live in Alsip, IL which is not too far and well worth the trip if you are looking for a solid 1983 Hurst/Olds. The price and brief description is listed below the video in the comments section. If you are serious, let me know. Come take a look at the car in person, drive it, and I am sure you would be interested. I will be busy until February. Any time in February, or thereafter would be a good time to arrange a visit.
