Oh, that's right, Ganz designed and built SO many vehicles.....NOT ! Sad to throw rocks now after so many years and to try to discredit the Porsches. Everyone seems to be under the impression the Porsches were German. NOT. Give it a rest.

@nationalsocialista In the early 40' 20th century VW factory, had built a few dozen cars "Käfer". I do not know how many. I know that in order to reduce cost of production the VW factory made use of Polish forced laborers. On youtube is a video about this.
One thing is certain, VW still has a great marketing policy.
Sorry for my English.

Don't forget Bela Barenyi who's got an original idea of beetle and he could prove it. So he took a legal action against Porsche (1DM, as he said: 'I fought for my truth') and he won! Read the book: vw kafer, if you don't belive that This fact doesn't effect on Porshe's greatness but good to know what realy happened back then.He was a genius and much more advanced than most of the engineers of that time.

The person that Adolf chose to design the Beetle was that German engineering genius, Professor Ferdinand Porsche. About 336,000 Germans paid money into a savings program initiated by KdF and administered by the Volkswagen company who used the funds to build the largest automobile factory in Europe.
German participants were promised that the first vehicles would be delivered in 1940. Of course the war changed all of this as production was first diverted for military use.

Some folks just want to take away the industrial pride of the Nazis away from them at any cost:
The Beetle wasnt invented by Ferdinand Porsche, thats a sure fact: He was just the only one of many engineers of the Austro-Hungarian school of designers, which got huge financial resources from the Nazis to bring the ideas of MANY engineers from Austria, Hungary, Germany, Czechoslovakia, into production.
Porsches influence in all this was very little, he just happened to get the money to do this.
