Hi Chris, nice job on your CNC unit looks very impressive!
I am still playing with the weave, a rub down removes the imprint of weave from the peel ply, I am trying to fill any thin bits with a filler primer. I think the secret with peel ply is plenty of resin so the peel looks wet. The excess all gets peeled of but if you dont make sure the peel is wet you may not have enough resin on the underlying cloth.
