@jamierennie1 Smithy was in my class at school & was also a friend of mine... I was working as a warden at Sale Water Park last time I saw him, he was buzzing because he just bought his first sports car from the money he scored from "Sweet Sensation".... man, I just got shivers reading about his death... I feel sick.

@jamierennie1 Was that his Chickin Lickin? He was a great friend of mine 82- 98 off City Road there. Didn't know he had passed on. Sad night for me tonight....Good man, gentle man and gentleman. RIP to a great musician/composre/lyricist and lover!

hey you purley by coincidence happen to be the one that i love.tune,should have become famous ,as michael jackson,just as good if not better ,didn't get the chance ,like many others who had no money, but had plenty of talent,probably not bothered about the money at the time, just did it out of wanting to ,but should have been recognised for their naturl ability xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Leroy Smith, the keyboard player was a great friend of mine. Myself, Leroy, Eric his brother and a big gang of us used to hang around Old Trafford where we grew up. Leroy, sadly, was found dead in his flat above his cafe in Manchester in 2008. He was a beautiful man. Love you brother.
