The poem "June" by imprisoned Chinese journalist and poet Shi Tao is translated to and performed in Darug, by Richard Green. Darug is the language of the Indigenous people from lands now comprising western Sydney, Australia. This performance is part of the International PEN Poem Relay, www.penpoemrelay.org

  • People who comment on this video should listen to those who know about the Dharug dalang and what Richard Green is doing. If you cannot understand or trust what you see here, there are plenty of Aboriginal people who know and respect his work.
