You guys may have heard it in the news already, but the U.S. plans go as far as Syria. U.S. Special Forces Helicopters targeted alleged Sunny Insurgent supporters across the Iraq-Syria border killing at least 8. They also violate Syrian air space near the border regularly. Air Strikes against Iranian Nuclear, Military or Strategic targets are still possible before election day or the end of the Bush Administration as a last gift of misery to Obama or McCain ( which might benefit election wise).
