I remember one of these flyin over my school while the ROTC guys were out.
I say to one, "Hey what do you make of that?"
"It's a C-17 Globmaster of course, finest cargo plane in the air force!"
Better check those facts..."I know what I'm talking about do you dare question me?"

I go over to the commanding officer, "Hey what do you make of that?"
"That's a C-5, biggest plane in the United States Air Force!""

It's just amazing when you see that, I saw a C-17 slow pass in real and I kept thinking , when does it fall out of the air ....?
But luckily it didn't ...

good pilot. that ship is massive. those manuevers might look subtle, but moving that mass like that take skill.
