Restless (Loveless / Lacara - Everytime We Touch)

I made this AMV to premiere in the AnimeNEXT 2007 AMV contest, July 6-8, 2007 ( http://www.animenext.org ).
As the credits state, the video was completed on June 9, 2007. The main reason I'm uploading it here is to do so before anybody else does, so as to prove that it's mine.

No, that was not a typo. Cascada was not the first group to cover "Everytime We Touch" by a long shot; they were just the first group to replace the verses with their own significantly crappier "I still hear your voice when..." version. :P

At any rate, I had to import the CD-single all the way from Germany, because it was never released in the USA.

Before anybody asks, I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit most of this video; I did use Adobe After Effects 6.0 Standard as well, but only for one scene (the 3D sequence at the end). All the masking was done with Premiere Pro's keying effects -- certain scenes in Loveless lent themselves so easily to this technique that it was ridiculous.

The bulk of the editing was done in Adobe Premiere Pro (1.0), with the one 3-D scene at the end done in Adobe After Effects 6.0 Standard.

Also used a bevy of free programs for things like DVD ripping and encoding, including SmartRipper, DVD2AVI, AVISynth (and associated plugins), VirtualDubMod, the x264 and LAME codecs...

How do you import music in Adobe Premier Pro Cs3? i cant import music " File Not Supported "

Don't try editing with any kind of compressed audio (MP3, OGG, WMA, M4A, etc.); convert to uncompressed WAV first. That's easiest for such programs to work with.

If you've got the CD (and you really should, if possible), re-rip the track straight to uncompressed WAV so that you have no generational fidelity loss at all.

Yes, I sent this to NDK; I entered it into Drama/Romance, but I guess the coordinator moved it to "Category X." I haven't changed the song.

Ohh...I love this version. -has it on my iPod- But since the words were different and didn't seem to match the song, I always assumed that it was a cover, originally by Cascada.
