@Joppsta360 Actually I had horrible experience with nvida cards besides the 9800 gtx but their quadros are slower(or choppier) than the firepro cards.
I'm waiting for nvidia to fix the cuda problems in 600s so I can possibbly upgrade my pos gtx 580 3gb don't get me wrong they are good gaming cards but not video editing...

I would rather shoot myself in the face than put any AMD product into a tower I was building for anyone. If AMD is so great I am sure a company such as EVGA would support them... but nope. You also find that there is 20% more Nvidia than AMD users .. Nvidia has more than half market share (according to the steam community survey).
So.. I think I don't need to say much more. My personal experience with AMD's cards is enough to never use them again.

@Joppsta360 Tell me why my radeon hd 6950 + 1090T out performs my gtx 580 3gb EVGA + i7 2600k? (Don't ask me to bench my amd system cause I've sold it for dual opts and fire pro)
Imo intel are the processors speed for less cores
amd is for the graphics
nvidia is for tesla(the 500 series got messed up cuda)

@yesman1761 Don't take the piss, Intel and Nvidia are superior. You only buy AMD if you can't afford Nvidia. I'll agree generally speaking they are cheaper but you pay for what you get... The 580 performs 15% better in gaming than the top ATi card you know? Enough said in my opinion.
Real gamers roll Nvidia/Intel. They are just made for gaming.
