  • The music is a bit like Brian Eno's MUSIC FOR FILMS.....I thought his was about how an individual interacts with a work of art...in this instance the gallery visitor feels such a powerful identification with the images on the wall that she "becomes" the figure in the photographs, culminating in a vision of her own death.

  • @MysticMoonGoddess67

its understanding through empathy. knowing that even though i may not have met you before or know your name, i will treat you the same as i would expect myself to be treated. Respect is not earrned. It is inalienable...a given. It can be taken away, usually piece by piece, but it is there at the start.

At the end of the day, i breathe the same air as you.

  • @MysticMoonGoddess67 This is not self-censorship, nor is it stifling oneself. It is consciousness. Understanding that we are a whole living human mechanism in the machine that is the world.

  • My Interpretation of a living person feeling the resonant energy of the artist that was present when the piece was created.

We don't quite realize that yes, we have the basic human right to express ourselves, but we need to be balanced in how that is approached. We need to be able to remove ourselves and step into someone else's shoes (the viewer, the listener, etc) and truly understand all angles at which our piece can be seen.

  • Cracking stuff!

I'm also one of the finalists on the Paranormal Activity comp, so I'm going through the others.

I like this a lot. My interpretation (which might be well off the mark) is that the lady is suffering last-second regret over her choice to hang herself, hence her alarm at the gallery images. Prob wrong, but a superb short all the same :o)

  • Was pretty good. Some good ideas, though I wasn't a big fan of the score (the high pitched tone got a bit annoying).
