The media is always so hungry for drama that they create bull shit between two innocent teenagers just adding even more pressure. They should have just let it play out between Shannon and Kim and quit with all the hype. The media does practically nothing but ruin gymnasts.

Miller was so technically excellent! She certainly deserved that gold AA in Barcelona. Her vault was perfection... I have always felt sorry for her. Zmeskal was also a great crowd pleaser... Felt so sorry for both of them in '92

how on earth did it EVER seem appropriate to list a gymnast's weight on national tv?! this happened regularly in that era and i've never understood how it even got started, let alone continued!
