  • Bring back the 1970 Chrysler New Yorker Wagon and the 75 Impala Wagons. Those are fucking huge i WILL NOT buy a small ass wagon that is smaller than the regular car i drive. If its a wagon it better be full sized, not this compact bullshit

  • caddywagons, hearses were cool, back when caddy's were cool, ie pre-73, my opinion all american cars went lame in the mid '70's and never recovered. bring back the full bodied big block all american steel groundpounders

  • Old school impalas for the win. What the hell are these new station wagons. They're so ugly.

  • Somebody needs to bring back the vista cruiser. Olds may be dead and gone, but the Vista's design cues are too damn cool to go by the wayside. Bring back raised roofs, second row and rear glass, forward facing 3rd row seats, the dual opening tailgate, and woodgrain!

  • screw ferrari i'm stickin' to my 1980 wagon

  • Where did the attitude of "I'd never be caught dead in a station wagon" come from? I've owned at least one station wagon and I've ridden as a passenger in a few, and I've seen lots of them in my lifetime. Why some people don't like them is beyond me.

  • I've always loved station wagons. The mix of style and utility, comfort, and it can be fun to drive.

  • That wasn't a wagon, that was a really big hatchback!

  • Back in the days, people bought station wagons because they had large families. They also bought station wagons because they travel often and need the space. Some bought it for other reasons. Maybe some bought it for no reason at all. Today, people who buy station wagons are looking for the same concept. However, in my opinion, they are seeking for something that is not there. Station wagons today seem smaller. As practical as a regular sedan.

  • I've always liked wagons. In fact I'm looking to get one now. But the one thing I hate about them is that the 3-way tailgate or lifting window/lowering tailgate style (like you find on old LTDs or even old S-10 Blazers) can be found only on the full-size wagons. Give me a 1994 Buick Century wagon with one of those tailgates in it. (And a standard transmission, too, but I know I'm dreaming....)

  • that dosent look anything like a station wagon. Real station wagons died in 1996 when the last real caprice rolled off the assembly line.

  • Can modern "sports wagons" swallow standard 2440mm x 1220mm boards? The wagons of the 70's could!

And look at the extra rear windows flanking the cargo area; they're even smaller than a dinner plate. Doesn't look very promising...
