I was lucky and had gotten the Titanite Catch Pole so I was doing good damage each hit. I would have died a lot more using that sword.

how do you not die when he hits you? i am a level 14 and die with 1 hit..... do 2 more levels really make a differenc or are my stats different?

@WanderleiSilva29 I didn't die because I blocked the hits with my shield, but sometimes I didn't have enough stamina and the rest of the damage was taken from my health. If you don't block it's sure death at that level :)
