Our pit stall this race was right next to Hollenbeck's pit stall near the entrance of pit road. The hit was so hard I heard it, when normally we cant hear anything but the cars. Also talking to there crew, the spotter for Hollenbeck didnt say a thing before he hit Patrick.

I love how Kimmel moved out the way when that car hits the holy high hell out of Sheltra's rear end. It's like he said "oh crap! let me move quickly" lol

they never showed the wreck again on tv. They thought he was dead.

If the hit was 3 feet further up the car, it would have been right in the door and probably fatal.

Yes he was, he suffered a compression fracture of the back, but did not have surgery.

Patrick Sheltra's hit was probably the hardest hit of Speedweeks other than Logano in the 500

I agree, at first I thought Sheltra was dead, but I was glad to hear that both drivers were OK.
