People, enough is enough. It's time for this juvenile "war of consoles" to end. Everyone would agree that every new system out has it flaws, its strengths, and its weaknesses and everyone has there own system that they prefer overall, so why are we arguing. It's not going to change anything about where each console stands or what the hard-headed fanboys backing the consoles think. I'll tell you this, I prefer a PS3 overall but that doesn't mean I don't like the Xbox 360 or the Nintendo Wii. If anything I like the Halo series for Xbox and the Matroid series for Nintendo and I retract any negative statements I made about any console or game. With all this console bashing, the world will see gamers as sad and an overly obsessed community and this console smashing is even more inept (stupid) then arguing which console is better. Smashing a console is just a waste of time, good money, good hardware, and it's a prime example of the intelligences that's lacking in the world today. Why don't you use your time more effectively, make a difference, make change in life instead of attacking a piece of hardware or in one case (PS3) expensive hardware. It's a shame because I never thought that gaming could be taken too far but I was wrong. In the words of Charlie Murphy "We Got To Do Better". This is hot ghetto mess in full affect and I hope this statement on where I stand has enlightened you or at least got you thinking. Thank you for your time.

@andybpiano Well like it or not Tretton does make a point, not everyone will agree with, that just happens all the time in the Video game business it's not like he said the Ds,3ds was a piece of shit he just stated his opinion on the product, but if you do see the majority of his interviews, he does Respect his competitors.

Sony has been talking smack abit less than Microsoft nowadays, before it was the reverse, Sony were the cocky mouthed guys when the ps3 was unveiled.

@dontreadmyusername0 Certainly, the 3DS can be a great toy for children. The problem is he implied that it is inappropriate for people >20 y.o to own/play 3DS, which is just totally ignorant. Tretton was promoting the "casual-core" stigma and intolerance amongst gamers while they should be actively trying to eliminate the stigma that VGs are a waste and gamers are lazy, unsocial, trigger happy, stupid losers. Unlike Sony/MS, the N has made this a priority and Iwata has explicitly stated that

@BakaZone well 3 years-later things history have unveiled unexpected turns, nintendo is back from the dead, and on top of the gaming era, and ps3 is at bottom. now with the succes of the wii and 3ds, they are about to launch they're next console which will top again i'm pretty sure.

@dojOdRiFTeR think again portable war nintendo is owning, and with the launch of 3ds it get even worse for sony, console wise the wii is the most sold console and the ps3 the last. sony still has to compete with 360 since they're the same type of entertainement, but bad news for them is that nintendo is working on its next gen console which will target same kind of audience as 360 and ps3 plus the same kind of audience of the wii. this new console might come out sooner than we think.
