This is a 60's, 70's vintage GE two speed chrome blender with glass jar. What's really nice about it is the low profile design as compared to all other blenders. It easily fits under counters and shelves and doesn't dominate the countertop. The motor and housing is behind the jar and it is belt driven. Near the end of the run the body became plastic and the switch was replaced with buttons,
What a shame you can't buy good quality appliances like this anymore that will last forever

  • lol a little noisy

  • I own 3 of these-they are great little blenders and not susceptible to tipping. Back when appliance makers actually gave real choices.

  • What a great masculine voice this presenter has online. Must be Canadian or a very well educated American. His demos are all well presented but I guess he will soon move into examining motorcycles and long trips this summer, More soon I trust?
