Lyndee Evans, incoming senior at Jay County High School, Portland, Ind., talks about her experience as a patient of Parkview's Samaritan Flight crew. While driving to an after-school activity in rural Jay County in April 2011, Lyndee's car went off the road and she was badly injured. While Lyndee recovered well, her perspective on "superheroes" has changed. Lyndee's story was debuted at Parkview Field Friday, July 22 as the Fort Wayne TinCaps recognized local superheroes during the baseball game. Parkview's Samaritan Flight and Ground Transport program has served more than 18,000 critically injured individuals from through out the region during its more than 20 years of service.
