This general theme has been around since '95 or so...but I think up until '04 it was harsher with more metallic drums. This has a beat but it seems softer--used right through the end until 2011-12. If I'm wrong please correct me!

I gotta say that every couple years , I like OLTL's new opening sequences, the best theme songs. They've had about 6 different ones now and each one is fabulous. I still think that the original one from 1969 was the best, with the fireplace !! Although I do also like the Peabo Bryson theme song as well as the champagne sequence they had for a few years. So MANY great characters over the years have come and gone, and then, to our delight, magically come back !OLTL always keeps us guessing !
