Cotillard was discussing documentaries she had seen on European TV, several of which have also been shown on US cable TV (History Channel, e.g.). She did NOT say the government, or Bush/Cheney, had downed the Twin Towers. Anyone who speaks fluent Parisian French and sees the videotape personally would never have been manipulated into believing this. No wonder she did not aplogize -- she was mis translated, which is worse than misquoted. It means no one took proper care to vet what she said.
