Any of you guys ordered any of the cheaper pcb prototypes from china? Sites like pcbcart and Myro PCB offer really cheap boards - but are they as good a quality as euro/usa based suppliers?

@intellecta see Atarado boards and support software for it. Tell me is it worth for such simple designs.

You should never use autoroute or autoplace unless you have a VERY simple board or to route a single tricky track.

Is this just for making a pcb using through hole design ,or can it also let you design a pcb which is only for smd components ?

another alternative to printing a transparency would be to purchase a film positive. Some layouts require higher quality then a desktop printer can offer. Accent Publishing

Agree. That's why I recommend using the rats nest view to assist in placement and routing. Autoroute is good to see any complications. Indoors and start again
