but really... even with that definition... to know doom metal... you have to experience it...
really if you like the most darkest morbid ov sounds without it sounding violent and distorted, doom-metal may be the way to go

so in other words... think of a slow metal song made extra atmospheric and dark with the guitars tuned very low and the drums very melancholic, vocals consisting of the deepest growls
