Carnie is so beautiful & lovely. Her voice is soft and warm. "Next To You" is taken from Wilson Phillips' first album that Carnie lead. Love this song so much.

  • @SuperSeasoft OMG you're so lucky how you doin? I'm a Carnie lookalike

  • Probably my favorite song on this album followed closely by "Eyes Like Twins." it's interesting to note the subtle re-orchestration from the original release (just like impulsive was re-orchestrated for a radio release) this song is amazing and people take many things from it. Personally, I think this song is hopeful and about overcoming adversity and not about proving your worth to someone who doesn't return your affections...that's called a stalker. Lol. Anyway, great montage - awesome job!!!

  • Love Wilson Phillips! Here's my tribute to them..

A further note on the teenaged mother. I applaud her for choosing to keep the baby even though she had been raped. She has more courage than most!

I agree to a considerable extent, and indeed, no one has the right to criticize or judge anyone else based on such things. I am most in agreement about the ugliness factor (not much one can do about that, unless they want to pull a Joan Rivers, and come out looking like an embalmed corpse following plastic surgery). It is just that in MOST cases, teenaged mothers and extremely obese people did this to themselves (I was once quite fat, so I can admit to this). Peace.
