I interpreted this song as being about the fall of the Third Reich.

realmente tolkki era el genio... comparar New Era (Revolution Renaissance) con Polaris (stratovarius) es como comparar un Ferrari Enzo con un Nissan Cube. Por algo Tolkki es una leyenda y el otro solo un buen guitarrista.

@metalhiker such my bloody jewels... anti-war songs are the most fucking stupid and cheesy thing, it's pure marketing-ism and that sucks... bored of this shit

this song is telling the story of how knights and other troops didnt stop fighting, for they loved their kingdom, even to the last man they would guard it to the last man!!! it even says in the song "The War was lost but we fought on!!!" and in the the end nobody won!!!" basicly its saying, they fought hard enough to drive out the enemy of their land!!! and how they did it with no king! now thatd fucking loyalty, and those who dont agree can go to hell for all i care.

Stratovrarius has been one of my favorite Metal Bands for the last 5 years or so.
Hard to believe there are so many genres of Metal out there and yet those of us that listen to it are still viewed as Rejects LOL.
Metalica, Megadeath is what I classify as Pussy Metal. But bands like Strat are what metal is really about. The Finnish have invested heavily in Metal and the result is they are the best on the planet at producing it.
