  • when i watched slaughterhouse five this music just hit me in the face its just so beautiful mainly the largo version. Beautiful piece of music somehting that will not be heard or appreciated by many kids nowadays.

  • yep. agree.

  • The largo is absolutely shimmering. I first heard it when I was seven. It was included in the Slaughterhouse Five soundtrack and it sent shivers down my spine then and still does today. Thanks for posting it!

  • daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn this song is hella fuckin long!

  • Only Tchaikovsky comes close to making a piano respond this way to the orchestra.

  • @Blackgeoff3 Hahaha, reading over my comment now and it does seem pretty abrasive. I guess I was just trying to refocus mirkthirteen (in a rather roundabout way) onto the music rather than kneejerk statements like "NOWADAYS all is lost". There's nothing constructive in saying most (young) people are "cloth-eared"... I suppose it'd be nice if everybody was a little more hopeful and a little less dismissive.
