KinderForest - Growing a Playground

This beatifully animated 1 minute film shows how a children's playground is grown from tree roots. The film was drawn by GuyNamo Design and Animation ( http://www.theguystershow.com )and debuted at the 2005 World Expo in Aichi - Japan ( http://www.expo2005.com/ ). It was commissioned from the artists by Plantware ( http://www.plantware.org ) which is an advanced horticulture company that enables the shaping of trees into useful constructs. The film was made to demonstrate how Plantware's technology works in a way that would be attractive and educational to children. The design for the Growing Playground was awarded an "excellent work" honor by the Japan Design Foundation ( http://www.invivo-design.com/objects-kinderforest.htm ).
