Some before and after footage of my 1999 Porsche 996 with the OEM (stock) vs AASCO Flywheel. Much quicker throttle response!

  • it messes up your idle. is that worth it? any more performance?

  • @visions84 it doesn't mess up the idle. It's just a lot lighter so it kinda bounces off the bottom after a rev. But, it quickly settles in to a smooth idle. I paired the flywheel with a SPEC stage 2 clutch and I can tell that the car accelerates and shifts quicker. I wouldn't be surprised if I dropped at least 1/10th off my 0-60.

  • thanks for the video, dose lightweight flywheel makes noise or rattle when its in idle?

    If it dose how bad is it?

  • what about with the clutch engaged and accelerating, is there any difference there?
