This is a reenactment of the first Transcontinental Army Convoy that was lead by Lt.Col Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1919. These men and women were greeted in Woodbine, Iowa by the American Legion Riders of Nebraska and given an escort through rain, hail and dangerous straight winds.
All vehicles made the journey from Washington D.C. to San Francisco, Ca.
