@MrElliejimmy Mollegebet bows look lovely and really fast, though I have never had the pleasure of shooting one. When I used to shoot competitively I shot mainly Western and some Albion rounds but never York. Few do as 100 yards is a real bitch to hit consistently with a traditional wooden bow! :) These days we regularly shoot at a target approx. 110 yards distant with our "warbows", but hits are few and far between!

how much joule of energy do you get of this bow? It must be as strong as a handgun or?
DZgoodTimes 4 days ago
@DZgoodTimes Sorry but I have no idea how many Joules of energy these bows produce. All I know is their draw weights, which range between 90 and 110 lbs across all the various bows used in the video.

@bigbowbrum Little more question, How much does the arrow wiegt? And how far can this thing shoot? In my opinion this thing must can kill at a distence up to 250 meters... Im very interesting about bow and crossbows.
DZgoodTimes 2 days ago
@DZgoodTimes The weight of the arrow depends to a large extent on the type of arrow head, but generally they weigh around 65g. It is possible for a yew bow with a draw weight of around 130lbs to shoot a 65g arrow around 250 - 270 yards max. Lighter "flight" arrows can be shot over 350 yards with a good bow.
