Dangerous to be a guitar player in the Mac. Jeremy Spencer just up and left one day for a cult. Peter Green had issues probably developed out of taking LSD and left. Danny Kirwin had problems with alcohol and left. Bob Welch left due to artistic differences, committed suicide last year. Bob Weston left due to a daliance with Mick's wife and died last January of alcoholism.

I know this guy named Mick, he don't need no chick, he does the Shake... Peter Green was teasing Mick by using his name in the song but he took it in good humor, he even recorded it on his own solo album many years later. Damn he look like a kid here, heck so does everyone.

All I can say is that when Santana and the Mac were inducted into the RRHOF, Peter was up on stage WITH Carlos during Santana's set. I'd call THAT homage.
