  • Its worse than that, you put the helmet on your mirror and it falls off and hits the asphalt and a little rock punctures the shell, you might as well trash it too. Sell it to someone who will use it for auto-x or something since the foam is fine, but don't put that thing back on your head for riding.

If you don't think your brain is worth $250, it probably isn't and you shouldn't wear a helmet at all (and be sure not to reproduce in advance please). ;)

  • Disagree, if you have any sort of accident or drop your helmet or otherwise have some damage risk, get rid of it. Slash off the fasteners, get rid of it. You can't know for sure whether some damage has been caused internally or not.

  • can i still get a refund if i die?

  • @Jerlemi2 well i guess being adult about this is out of the question... i was just pointing it out is all... i suppose i shouldn't have called you that, though, my bad... wasn't meant to be personal...

if you ride, hope you ride safe...

  • @MooMofo im sorry. i didnt mean to make you cry. ride safe pal.

  • @Jerlemi2 don't be a dick, dude... we all know what could happen to us when we take up riding... a helmet can sometimes mean the difference between walking away from a crash, or not...

bad joke in bad taste, i value my life and will always ride with my helmet on just in case anything were to happen...

    Hi

I just got some from sportsbikeshop.co.uk

Otherwise do a search for Arai helmet spares.if you are not UK based.

  • arai is very expensive, but it is the best helmet that i have ever owned. Does any one know where i can get the plastic sides? i dropped my helmet tonite. sux ......

  • Please keep referring to it as a helmet as it makes hilarious video titles for dirty minded people like me!

  • make sure your helmet is always in good shape. when the rest of your body is mangled from a crash you can rest assured that your head will be intact

  • @MrButterscotch1

but it may be fine as long as you get it checked out... by the appropriate person :)

  • lol 250$, i wihs my helmate cost me that it cost me just over 1 grand....
