4:00: "MRI for breast is called Guided Breast Biopsy". Wrong! MRI for breast is simply called breast MRI! The MR-guided biopsy is performed only when the radiologist needs to remove some cells from a suspicious area in the breast and examine them under a microscope to determine a diagnosis, and it helps the radiologist to target the tumor, to see it.
3:52: "MRI for brain is called fMRI or functional MRI". This is not correct. fMRI is a type of specialized MRI scan used to measure the hemodynamic response (change in blood flow) related to neural activity in the brain. It is not the routine MRI of brain that provides anatomic description and the detection of abnormalities.
how is it that a MRI tech saves lives??? They stick someone in the tube, run the machine, and pass the images/scans to physician who would diagnose, treat, and hopefully save lives
@cheke64 are you wanting to be a Rad Tech? if yes your into a lot of surprise, If you are a Rad Tech, learn Mandarin. China might hire people who specialize in CT and MR.
What city is this school located in?
I am currently going to school for MRI in Bakersfield,CA.
it is really hard though:[
