.....Toscanini " arguably " the greatest and most famous conductor in history ?? ;-)
Change it, ditogan. 'cos not even a deaf or anyone 100% clueless of music could argue in whatever way Toscanini is the greatest and most famous ever , emblem and symbol by himself of music conductor, a role that didn't even exist before Toscanini .......!!!

Very interesting to see the words of Toscanini on Fascism dramatized. If you're not intelligent enough to realize 1) this fidelity of color film did not exist in Toscanini's lifetime, and 2) the older man is an actor who is clearly NOT Toscanini, but clearly meant to portray him, please refrain from making ignorant comments or ratings.

@AfroPoli The purpose of a conductor is to "Dictate" musical expression, so I fail to see your point. Symphonic music is not a democracy, and if it ever became one, it would drown in the very mediocrity that so enraged Toscanini.
