Another terrific song issued in the UK on the Action label in 1969. Norman Johnson became General Johnson of Chairmen Of The Board and had some great hits in the early seventies, but this one takes some beating.

Sixties Latin tinged soul is one of my favourite styles of music. The Drifters popularised it but to me this is the best example of it. Perfect harmonies and perfect orchestral arrangment. Reminds me of so many good Northern Soul clubs I have visited over the last 35 years.
